Prepare in Season an Out of Season

2 Timothy 4
I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season;
correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.


The words we speak are of great importance.
Our mouths should be speaking words of life.
Our words should encouraging and be gentle,
Lifting others up and spreading the good news.

Jesus told the 2 deciples to Go back to John,
and tell him all you have seen and heard here today.
How those whoe were blind can see.
The lame and now walking without a limp.
The lepers are comepletely healed.
The deaf can hear again.
The dead come back to life.
And the poor are hearing the Good News.
And tell him,
"Blessed is the one who does not lose his faith in me"


You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace,
since God has blessed you forever.
Psalm 45:1-3

speach in the modern world

There are times when we say things, that we wish we could take back.
Not so Christ like. Loozin your cool about things, cursing, grumbling or nagging.

It really doesn't have to be much. If your speach is done in person, in writing or on facebook or twitter.

We get instructions all throughout the bible on how to speak. What are speach should contain of. How to maintain our conversations. For instance in Collosians we are inspired to let our conversations to be full of grace.

Collosians 4:6
Let your conversation be always full of grace,
seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.


Even a little ( lol ) to someone elses comments.
When those comments were are placed on someone elses comments that are not
so christ like. If you give your lol. You are giving into sin. You may have as well be Condoning the sinful nature or lustful behavior. 
Jesus spoke to the deciples in
Mathew 18:6-8
"Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble!
Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!"


It doesn't matter how you condone sin.  Speaking or doing, either way you are not being Christ like.
(Speak Definition: To convey sentiments, ideas, or intelligence as if by utterance as,
features that speak of self-will.)

Your actions speak for you.  A middle finger.  Is that not the same as speaking it?
Everyone knows your statement you are making.  Another example is a thumbs up.
Everyone knows what you are saying, or trying to convey.  Good Job, Yeah man!

Okay.

The Holy spirit who dwells with in you, when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, is here to guide you.  Psalms 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with my loving eye on you.

To Keep you from going back to your old nature.

1 Corinthians 6:11
But you were washed, you were sanctified,
you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.


Epesians 5:3-5
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality,
or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Safeguarding your thoughts

Making changes in your thinking and your actions and those adjustments in your lifestyle are so very important to God. He wants your thoughts to be about good and righteous things.

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.


There is a battle going on inside you between your old way of life that old sinful nature, and your new nature that comes from Christ. If you want to win this battle, you’re going to have to change the way you think, because the way you think determines the way you feel.  And the way you feel determines the way you act. Your attitude. Your lifestyle. How people preceive you. Should Glorify God. 

Changing the way you think, well thats going to require prayer and action. Paying attention to your thoughts, is very important.  When your thoughts are wondering in a direction other than Christ. Realize it and surrender your thoughts to Christ, immediately. If you get really off base in your thoughts, having sinful thoughts.
Repent, ask God to forgive you.  Then give him thanks and praise for his forgiveness.


I found that by spending time in prayer, asking God to guard about my thoughts, my actions, and my words.  That the Lord reveals himself to me. As you do these things your mind will become aligned with what the Holy Spirit desires. He wants us to acquire the mind of Christ.  You will have more controll what you think about, About what you Say.

Those things that don't please God from your former way of life, dump it.
Its time to put off your old self, your old ways, Those ways which have been corrupted. Get rid of our selfish desires, and worldly influences. They are no good for your body, mind or spirit.

The Holy Spirit will guide you to help you to change your attitude.
In Mark 4:24 Jesus spoke of how to obtain the understanding of the Holy Spirit.
Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen,
the more understanding you will be given and you will receive even more. 
To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given.
But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.”


Phil 4:8
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or
praise worthy than think about these things.


Philippians 2:5
Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ. who though he was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights. But he set aside his own mighty power and glory.


Romans 8:5-6
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires;
but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Why did God allow Jesus to get hurt?

Why did God allow Jesus to be hurt?


John 3:16 tells us that “God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”


We are all sinners and because of our sin, our relationship with God is broken. We deserve to be punished for our sin, but God allowed Jesus to take the punishment and to be hurt so that our relationship with Him can be restored. God allowed Jesus to be hurt because He loves us so much and wants us to live with Him forever.


Jesus said, “But I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father.” (John 14:31) In John 14:6 we read that Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” Jesus knew it was the only way. Jesus willingly suffered and died so that we may have eternal life.

pumpkin patch!

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc.     Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see. This was passed on to me from another pumpkin.   Now, it is your turn to pass it to a pumpkin. I liked this enough to send it to all the pumpkins in my patch.

Your thoughts are what run your life

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.  Isaiah 55:6 NIV

Everyone is living in a fsst moving world. Everyone everywhere seems to be in a hurry. My friend, the most important thing you can do is to Pray. Spending time with God. Not asking God for this or that. But praising him, worshipping. Giving him thanks in all things.

No matter if  how many things you have to get done. I know how life gets busy.  You really need to set some time away just for God. You see everything around you, everything dear to your hearts all depends on prayer.

To be free from sin and the negative things you need to spend time in prayer. It is an essential part of growing closer to God.  Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23 

Becareful on how you are thinking, because your thoughts are what run your life.  What do you do when you have negative or evil thoughts. You have to choose. Ask for forgiveness right there and then. And Choose not to do it anymore.  Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8

Choosing change, has to come from within, within your heart, your mind. You have to change the way you look at things. And even feel about things. If you go around thinking negatively or sinful, lustful thoughts, things are going then life around you will have the appearance of negativity.

But when you allow God to shape your destiny, through his word, your thoughts become your words, your words become your behavior, your behavior will become  your habits.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.  For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?  In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 1 Corinthians 2
The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
   to the one who seeks him 
Lamentations 3:25

Dreams from God

Another restless sleepless night, I began praying to the Lord God.
I always start by praising him, then thanking him for Jesus and for cleansing all my sins with his blood that he had shed. Then I ask for God to send his Holy Spirit to wash over me to enter seed so that my Prayers will be heard at His Throne.

As I began to lift up my children to him, and ask him to help them to understand that God does forgive them, and help them to forgive themselves, and forgive each other.

Into a deep sleep I fell. In my dream, (it felt so real, I hadn’t had a dream like this since we lived in Roy, at the property). I was at the property, sitting with my family in our house, we were celebrating and rejoicing. I looked out in the yard where I saw my dad approaching. He was dressed in tan slacks, and a very nice colorful, silk shirt, His boots were shined, so the sparkled. His white beard and mustache, trimmed so nice. I was shocked to see him. For a moment I thought I was seeing things.

I said look it is DAD. Mom look its dad!
But nobody paid attention or they couldn’t hear me, nobody even nudged, they just kept on rejoicing. Everyone, all my family were there. Enjoying each others company. So I got up and walked outside to where he was leaning on the front of a car. He seemed to be talking with someone. but I couldn’t see anyone there. I knew it was a private conversation and to wait.

I said Dad is that really you? DAD! Are you real? He was still speaking to someone. Just then the one that he was whispering to revealed his presence to me.

He reached out his hand, and I touched it, It was REAL. I held his hand, and it was real. I did this to kind of like when you pinch yourself to make sure your awake. To really make sure he was there. Then he reached out and he held me, and hugged me, with such strength in his arms. I felt his love.


He then spoke to me, He looked at my face and said “Sometimes I Hate waking up in Heaven” He had the biggest SMILE ON FACE.
I knew it was his way of thanking me for my care and prayers.
Then he said, And sometimes I just hate getting dressed in the morning, in a fun laughing voice.

I asked him, you have to get dressed in the morning in heaven? Then, I knew that was all I was to know..
Tears streaming down my eyes from the Joy of seeing him and receiving that hug, I awoke with tears of joy on cheeks.


Forgiveness sometimes is hard to accept. Even though sometimes one believes he/she has forgiven themselves, the sin still lingers in their own memory. The Joy you receive through this forgiveness is unexplainable. Glory be to GOD!

A Thump into A Bull Elk

The day before George and I were talking about how God uses us in unusual ways.  That at a drop of a hat that we are ready to do what ever God calls us to do. I could should share them all with you, but today I want to share what happened this elk season.

That night, I could not sleep. Insomnia. I deal with it. How? As a time to share with God. Its Our time. So I began praising and thanking the Lord, reading the word. Lifting up those who need healing. Praying for family and friends who don't know the Lord. As the sun began to come up. I asked God to bless us with an elk. Not just for our own food source, so we could help some of the others in our community that we know are having financial difficulties.

Waking up George got our hunting garb on. Bows in hand, cell phones on vibrate.  We head to cross the road.  We spot a bull elk in the middle of the road. Heading into the woods where we are headed.  George chooses the first trail in. I take the second trail. About 5-6 steps into the trail, I hear a thump. Georges arrow sinking into the elk. Just then I spot another Bull elk.  Not wanting to pass up on my own elk, I proceeded with the hunt.

Trying to make out just how many horns this elk has, I move up on it. Slowly, very slowly.  I can feel the blood pumping into my heart. I can hear the my heartbeat, getting louder and louder. If it gets any louder the elk will surely hear it.

Placing a tree between me and the elk, I am able to make my way close enough to set up my stand for my compound bow. Getting into postion, ready for the shoot, if it is a 3 point.  My phone begins to vibrate... I peek around the tree, and watch the elk walk down the hill on the trail. Knowing that I should stay still until I scope it out. I check the phone.

Four missed calls, all from George.  He must have killed his elk and need help, checking  the messages, they were sent almost an hour ago. Time flies when you are having fun. 

1. I got an elk.
2. Are you going to help me find it
3. There is blood everywhere, I need your help.
4. Bunny Praise God I got an elk.  I need your help.

I call george, ask did you find it?  No..He tells me he is having chest pain.
he is going to the house to take his nitro.  I told him to rest for at least a half an hour.

I meet up with him, he shows me the blood.  He had already took 2 other nitro pills. Of course he doesn't tell me this yet.  So we start following the blood trail.  It just disappears. We must have looked for 3-4 hours for the elk.  We decide to go up to the house and eat, and return after we have ate. On the way to the house, he tells me he had taken 3 nitro pills, and his chest was still hurting.

I say we are going to the hospitol NOW.  No changing clothes, no eating, off we went.
Called the hospitol to let them know we are on the way in. Morton is about 45 minutes away. George gets checked in, they do some tests, and the doctor says he had a heart attack.  They are going to transfer him to St Peters in Olympia. (via ambulance).

So I  call his dad, so george will have someone waiting there for him. I call my mom, let her know whats going on.  George tells me I have to hold it together for him.  Asks me if I can handle the drive or if I was going to have dad come pick me up.
I decided I would drive, so dad could be at st peters for him.

As I started out, I got held up in the road contruction 20 minutes twice.. before I even got to the house. In the last 10 years, I have only drove around packwood and once to ronda's out by 4 cornes. No real traffic. I felt the anxiety starting. Fear. Panic. Trembling. Tears just about to come forth.  Then I remembered what George said.
Bunny You have to hold it together for me.  Instantly I began, praising God, for being my strength, for helping me to hold it together. From there, came out bursts of prayer for no traffic, for george's heart, for dads safety and on and on...

When I reached the Town of Rainier, I got a bit confused on the road to take.. I felt myself braking down.. Tearing up... I stopped the car. Was going to call Ronda. Have her finish the drive for me. Meet me. The phone rang.. It was my sister Ronda! She gave me direction. The peace and calmness in her voice gave me peace. I was so glad that she was there with George and dad. The fear left me. 

Over and over I repeated, With GOD all things are Possible.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”


He spent Friday Saturday Sunday Monday in the hospitol. George, bringing Joy and laughter to the cardiovascular floor. The nurses  Usually when a patient is on floor 10, there life expectancy is not good. The nurses knew the story of the elk slayer before they even came on the shift.  He even made "Nurse Betty" laugh!
The family filled the room, some on the floor and the little ones sitting on the hospitol bed with Uncle Buck, sorrounded by the love that cannot be contained.  This is what the nurses saw. 

No matter what you are going through, Gods grace is sufficient for your every need. His power is revealed and made perfect in our weakness. 

Jeremiah 31:3
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

After the angiogram, the doctor told him he called his wife, and she said George could come over and kill all the deer in her yard. 
The Doctor found "No Heart Damage"  Praise God!

Proverbs 4:20 - 23
My child, pay attention to what I say.
      Listen carefully to my words.
  Don’t lose sight of them.
      Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
  for they bring life to those who find them,
      and healing to their whole body.

  Guard your heart above all else,
      for it determines the course of your life.


God is GREAT!

Dr Gavin put George on new medications and a new diet, bringing high blood pressure down, and his diabetes into check.

My baby girl Sherree is so blessed. She has just married her bow, Jimmy.
Almost like a fantasy, or one of those fairy tales where everyone lives happily ever after.
