cleansing our souls

Restoration occurs when we take responsibility for our actions.
Owning up and confessing our sins to God can set anyone free.
There is true power in confessing our sins as it cleanses our soul.
Psalm 32:5
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself,
“I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Confessing our sins doesn't mean that we are a bad person.
Not confessing your sins can cause you not to prosper.
Proverbs 28:13
People who conceal their sins will not prosper,
but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
Confessing our sins is simply giving God permission to work in us.
Allowing the Holy Spirit to wash us clean and give us a new life.
Being set free from sin can only happen when you confess your sin to God.
Restoration doesn't come from hiding things from God.
Colossians 3:10
Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

Really? Do you think that God does not know your sin?
Being Obedient in him, that takes confessing your sins.
How can you hide anything from God?
God hears and sees everything. You are not alone.
Job 34:21
For God watches how people live, he sees everything they do.

Ask him to reveal those hidden things in your life that are causing you to sin.
Lay down your sins before the Lord. Be Forgiven. Be Healed.
We’re not doing God a favor by praying each day. We are doing ourselves a favor.
By confessing our sins to the Lord, He forgives us. He cleanses us.
It gives God a chance to forgive you, when you pray.
Praying and confessing your sins, allow the Holy Spirit to renew you in Christ.
It is like taking a refreshing shower.
1 John 1:9
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us
from all wickedness
