Coffee with Trish

met Trish had coffee, $13.00 hour if I hire her.
occaisional...  She is working.  Would be willing, Sundays for church.
She is so kindhearted. 2/14/17

This was a challenge for me. To purposely ask Trish to coffee, and meet her there.
open up, some of my weaknesses.
Told her about some of my past experiences.
when I told her my hearts desire was to care for the sick.
How in the future I would like to get paid to do so. I don't think it will happen during moms time. She told me about the passion she had, and how she was going to and might rethink the purchase this senior living home. It houses the caregivers, has four rooms for residents, with adjoining bathrooms.
Wow! Speachless.  specially when she said she guesses that she wouldn't have to even really be there, just mange it.
In my wildest dreams, I would never thought I would hear that coming out of her mouth.
My God is wonderful, A gracious God. This was such a grace and encouragement to think that someone (God) Loves me enough to place those words in Trish mouth. this has been on my mind for many years.
Thanking the Lord for touching me the way he has. Praying His timing will be perfected, for He is Perfect. Everything He does is perfected. His timing is done in due season. Not out of season. praying I am in season and according to His will. I know he will be my strength.  Jer 29:11 He is a Gracious God

The senior center may be closing in June. I was surprised how quickly Angie dismissed the elders. Made my soul saddened. Her instant reply was I don't want to make any commitments to the seniors. We don't know where we will be in 6 months.
What happened to the faith?
Where is the compassion?
Where is the trust in the Lord?
Why so dismissive?

Really, I never thought Lord about the church hosting the senior center. Now as I reflect on all the things have placed on my heart, concerning the elderly, the widows. Their needs, the passion that you have placed in my soul for them. Is this passion a temporary thing? Does it have to do with  me and dads & Moms needs? Is there more that you are calling me to do? Oh Father in heaven, give me wisdom and understanding on where you are leading me. Let your will be done in my life.

[ Shepherd the Flock ] The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed:

[ Submit to God, Resist the Devil ] Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

Are you obedient to the Lord!

Wed night Church, Robin is teaching a small group of us the book of Genesis, We are on Chapter 12. We got on the point of how Abram was disobedient to the Lord.  Abram had convinced  Sarai his wife, to be deceitful and tell the Egyptians she was his sister. Lest he may die.

Genesis 12:10   Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to dwell there, for the famine was severe in the land. 11 And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. 12 Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. 13 Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that I[c] may live because of you.” 14 So it was, when Abram came into Egypt, that the Egyptians saw the woman, that shewas very beautiful. 15 The princes of Pharaoh also saw her and commended her to Pharaoh. And the woman was taken to Pharaoh’s house. 16 He treated Abram well for her sake. He had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male and female servants, female donkeys, and camels. 17 But the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife. 18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? 19 Why did you say, ‘She is my sister’? I might have taken her as my wife. Now therefore, here is your wife; take her and go your way.” 20 So Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they sent him away, with his wife and all that he had.

Those words  “being disobedient to God”  . Led me right back to what happened, and how I was disobedient to God. I told Robin, how I was disobedient to God.  I told her how I was speaking to one of moms old neighbors, as we were in line at Blantons.  I was holding her hands in my hands. She was telling me her Arthritis was so bad she could hardly open her hands.

As I was holding her hands in my own hands. I felt the Spirit of God urging me to pray for the healing of her hands. ( Ask and receive )  I looked over and saw my groceries were going through, and mom was paying for them. I hesitated. I knew if  I didn’t pray for her hands, I was going to let God down, or be disobedient to the Lord.  She needed that miracle. She needed her hands healed. God was going to heal them right there.

My pride, of my mom buying my groceries, led me astray. I was disobedient to the Lord God Almighty.  When really, God was taking care of  my groceries, making a way for me to have the opportunity to pray for  her and send healing.

When we got out to the car, I told mom I needed to go back into the store, and see if she needed help getting her groceries. Mom said ok. I explained to mom how I let God down. I was disobedient to God. I was to pray for healing of her hands.  God forgive me for being disobedient and help me to always do what you ask of me.  So I went into the store, and she said, No. It is okay.  I can handle it.

I see visions of her hands, in my hands and moving opening and closing.  Me grasping them and giving God the Glory for healing them. Her smile, shining so brightly that I could hardly recognize her. Relieved of her pain. I know that God forgives me, and his mercy endures forever.  I have the faith that she can be healed.

What torment, have I caused this woman, for lack of  being disobedient to my Lord God?  This is not me, I am a faithful  and loyal servant of the Lord.   He calls us to leave my home and  family from Roy and come to Packwood, and we did.  As did Abram.

He made a way for us to be by Aunt Ruth’s side while she testifies to others on her death bed.  You are my strength and my refuge. I have your words that you Lord gave to me, that you would guide me. I ask you Father for Boldness in sharing my faith. I have no excuses. I wasn’t ashamed.

I want you Holy Spirit to remove any disobedience that I have against God.  Anything in me that is not of God Leave in Jesus Christ Name.
Do we make our own destiny?  What is my fate, for not being faithful?
Have you walked right on past your blessing?  Only to end back where we began?  As Abram did ?

Abram Inherits Canaan

13 Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South. 2 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journey from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, 4 to the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

Be a good one!

Jesus Prays for All Believers

Wow! Shocked me when I saw my daughter in law post this picture on facebook. This quote "My kids thought Buddha needed more offerings of cheese crackers and Swedish fish"  turned my stomach and made me Speechless. I prayed, then thought how do I respond to this?
I googled how to lead

https://www.ministrymagazine.org/archive/2012/06/sharing-jesus-with-buddhists

I guess I always assumed that Josh and Leah and the boys were Christians. Never doubted their faith. Yes, I asked her if she is a Buddhists. Writing this without knowing her answer. I did not know how to respond to this. I  think I was in shock.

You can bet I do pray for all my family members. I pray the blood of Jesus Christ and Salvation over every generation, as far back as I can remember.  That the Holy Spirit would guide each one's path.

I know your asking yourself, "You had to ask?" How could this slip by you. This is huge. My son (

John 17:20-23  New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Prays for All Believers
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

sleeping to much

My cousin Kim Singer posted this picture from Wake Up World on facebook. At the time I was writing a post about sleeping in and missing church. More or less excuses, feeling sorry for myself. Blaming my disabilities.
.. I really needed to see this post.

( almost posted a pout..)  I am thankful Lord, that I have a sleep study coming up.

My sleep study coming up. I pray for my future of being able to go to bed and wake up totally rested. God I rest in your hands. To regain my strength throughout the day and night.  I wish to wake and see the sun rise. Lord, That people would be given understanding of my disabilities, and not judge me, only accept me. You have been, and are my healer. I give you thanks for taking me from my wheel chair, to my walking. I acknowldge that you have brought me through so much healing alredy. I pray for accelerated healing. In Our Lord Jesus Christ Name.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
