sleeping to much

My cousin Kim Singer posted this picture from Wake Up World on facebook. At the time I was writing a post about sleeping in and missing church. More or less excuses, feeling sorry for myself. Blaming my disabilities.
.. I really needed to see this post.

( almost posted a pout..)  I am thankful Lord, that I have a sleep study coming up.

My sleep study coming up. I pray for my future of being able to go to bed and wake up totally rested. God I rest in your hands. To regain my strength throughout the day and night.  I wish to wake and see the sun rise. Lord, That people would be given understanding of my disabilities, and not judge me, only accept me. You have been, and are my healer. I give you thanks for taking me from my wheel chair, to my walking. I acknowldge that you have brought me through so much healing alredy. I pray for accelerated healing. In Our Lord Jesus Christ Name.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Isaiah 55:6

Crawling .. for your healing

thanks frankjr for picture

For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.

What if that is how God healed today?

God would send his angel to the pool to sir it up, so healing could take place.  Only one person could be healed though. Would you be that person to be healed?

I would.  Never  knowing if the Angel would appear tomorrow, or back in 5 minutes or next year.  I would make my way to the pool. Whatever it would take.

Or would you just lay next to that pool like this certain man.

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”  And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.  The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”n He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’”

Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?”  But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place.  Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. Note, he did not say the angel who stirred the water healed him. He proclaimed his healing from Jesus.

When Jesus tells you to Rise Up and take your bed and walk. You best get your butt up, and walk. I know how it is to feel like this man. Crippled, and not able to stand on your own two feet. For real. Physically, I was laying on a couch every day. Couldn't walk, couldn't even stand. Being Wheelchaired around, from place to place.

Over medicated, to where I was sleeping all the time. No strength of my own. George and I decided we take a trip to California, go camping, prospecting, just stay a couple days at each place. Test prospecting. If we hit a good spot we would stay, if we found nothing we would move on.

Discouraged from not being able to walk, I began to crawl to get around the bank of the rivers. When we got to this one place, the revine was so deep. George was concerned about once we got down there, getting stuck, he didn't want to have to carry me back up. We knew the area was rich in gold, and this old runoff would be where we would find the gold. Nothiing was going to keep me down, I could now crawl.

So in my stubbornous. Yes I said stubbernous, come on be truthful, we all get stubborn some times.

I made my way down the rivine. George yelling out, if you get stuck down there, I am not coming down to get you. You are on your own. He of course was angry with me. Well, I got down there. I fill my pan with dirt, start panning it. YIPPY! The pan is full of that flour gold. More than we had ever found in one pan!  I began yelling for George.

George! George! Come quick. Grab your pan!

Of course, he is still angry. Thinking I am trying to trick him. He yells back, No. Your trying to trick me, you just want me to come down there and help you back up. I began to laugh, and said ok. But you will be sorry.

Not more than 2 minutes, he was down there by my side on his knees, and we were panning side by side.  ( ok maybe 5 minutes )

Now a days, we don't need an Angel to stir the water. It might be nice though. We can stay next to the stirring of the spirit. Or We can Rise up in our faith and take our beds and walk in the grace of the Lord. Rejoice and Be Glad!  Show God your Joy! An Abundant Joyful heart like finding gold in your pan. Because the riches that he has in store for us so much more rewarding than any flour Gold you will find in your pan.

pray this prayer,

God creator of the heavens and earth. Holy, Holy and Worthy are you!  Send your healing touch oh Lord, heal me Lord, Jehovah-Rapha.  I Thank you for your healing touch.  In the name of Jesus.

Now is not the time to go sitting back down, stay obedient in the Lord, and consume his word. Like Jesus told the man, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

May the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ go with you.

Please see Jehovah-Rapha

Hugs and Touches Heal the sick

Years ago, When I got the news of that my body was inflicted with cancer,
Anxiety plagued me. My husband was distraught.
The children were little, so they were not aware of this.

Now we had heard the words of Jesus Christ and how he healed many people.
He even rose the Dead. How he even rose the dead. The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
Luke 7:14-16

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them,
“Don’t tell anyone what you have seen,
until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
Matthew 17:8-10

Being aware of the healing power in the name of Jesus. We accepted it.
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
Matthew 14:13-15
You can bet that I was on my knees asking for the healing from Jesus,
and along side me was my husband praying.

I often had extra children, besides my own.
One day I was Preparing breakfast for my 3 children and my 2 neices.
God was preparing to Heal me.

God softly whispered in my ear. "Bunny I shall heal you"

I knew that God did heal me. I knew that it was the voice of God that I heard.

Now this was not an instant healing. I still had to go to the doctors. Still
had to keep claiming it. My husband also believed. So we were in agreement.

I had the cancer removed. Had tests done repeatedly for the next several years.
No cancer, None has returned. I am a walking testimony of Christ's Glory.

The other day, I was watching Benny Hinn he had a quest speaker,
Francisco Contreras, MD who wrote a book called Beating Cancer.
( If you are interested in this book you can get it at Benny Hinns website )

Yes, if you are sick I will hug you, hold your hand, pray for you.

At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness,
and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.
Luke 4:39-41
They made a statement about hugs, how touch causes things to happen in your cells
that cause healing. How the hospitols are hiring people to come in and hug the sick.
And it is speeding up the recovery of those with cancer. Glory be to God.
